The temperature on the Moon during the day can rise to 107 ° C. At night, however, temperatures can drop to -153 ° C.
Why the temperature on the Moon varies so much? This is because the Moon has no atmosphere like Earth. Here on Earth, the atmosphere acts like a blanket, trapping heat. Sunlight passes through the atmosphere and warms up the ground. Infiltrated energy is emitted as infrared radiation from the ground, but can not escape through the atmosphere too easy, and so the planet warms. Nights are cooler than days, but it's nothing compared to the Moon.
There is another problem. Our Moon has 27 days during rotation on its axis. So about 13 days will be light, followed by 13 days of darkness. If you walk on the Moon, sunlight, temperature should be hot enough to boil water. And as the Sun would set, the temperature would drop 250 degrees in just a few moments.
